Westinghouse boosts radio transmission without changing frequency
Westinghouse engineers demonstrated a booster system that amplified high frequency radio waves at matching wavelengths between KDKA Pittsburgh and KEKX Hastings, enabling signals to be relayed with reduced static. The test involved stations W E S testing a fixed frequency path and preserving original waveforms for clearer distant transmission.
