At Horsham Police Court on Friday several defendants faced charges tied to Prohibition era violations at the Victoria Hotel. Witnesses described police entering the back yard where four men talked, two claimed residence and three were hotel boarders. fines were imposed for two outsiders while others faced related charges.

The Horsham Amateur Athletic Club met in the Town hall last night with Mr J Crass presiding and Mr J Greer as secretary. Members reported on visits to Murtow and Natlmak for demonstrations and noted nineteen gold medals won by lads. The club posted a credit balance of 210 4 after tax on competitions. Officers elected included President Mrs BL Carmicharl, Vice Presidents J Crass and R Grant, Treasurer Mr Motormick, Secretary Mr G Greer, and others. A Longerening College visit was discussed with potential wrestling demonstrations next February. The meeting approved the arrangement and set next committee meeting agenda.
A collector's licence was granted to Jetas, James Ingram in Goroke, under the Pavey Davy and Co versus J Whitvhea case, per local licensing records. The decision permits specified collection activities in the Goroke area.
