Woman Drowns in Wimmera River Near Natimuk

A 72 year old woman, Mrs Bertha Rentsch, drowned while lunching with her husband and daughter near Natimuk. The body was found in the Wimmera River close to the Poikem Bridge about eight miles from Natimuk after she disappeared from the table. She had recently been discharged from Natimuk Bush Nursing Hospital and had years of medical treatment.
