Health specialists appeal dismissed in Horsham case
In Horsham General Sessions the appeal of R. Buys against a Dimboo la conviction for practising as a masseur without registration under the Masseurs Act 1928 was dismissed. The judge reduced the fine by £3 on defence submission after evidence from widows and others about treatment including electric devices and alleged cures. Constable Sloan testified to an unregistered masseur, while witnesses described examinations and treatments at the Dimboola Hotel.
