Fant Manufacturing plans new Geelong body works
The Fant Manufacturing Company will construct a motor vehicle body works at Geelong with two 75 ft long buildings, a 60 ft craneway and a 20 ft vent crane. Costs include £1000 for second building, £60,000 equipment, and power from Geelong power-house for 8 000 kilowatts. the project aims to finish by December 31 and employ about seven men. A wharf dredging at Corio Bay is underway to handle vessel unloading.
