Born in Surrey England in 1 ish she came to Australia with her parents and lived where her father was a stonemason. She married Mr Almander in 1871 at Wickliffe and after time at Chatsworth they moved to Pimpinio in 1873, later retired to Geelong in 1913. Surviving relatives include John Alexander Albert Edward Henry and Alexander of Horsham. The deceased also includes Margaret William Walter Elizabeth and Arthur. Interment was in New General Cemetery Geelong on Wednesday June 25. The coffin-bearers were three sons John and Mr Tinne. Multiple wreaths marked the service.
