Montage of Montague and Rutherford marriage plot unfolds
In a melodramatic tale set in a grand house, Count Rutherford seeks Alice Montague’s hand despite her resistance. Lord Montague engineers a covert marriage plan while Reginald tussles with obligation and desire, the scene shifting between library, verandah, and candlelit corridors as betrayals, vows, and power plays surface.
