The Department of Interior urged Horsham to relocate its meteorological instruments from the Post Office citing unsatisfactory site. The council suggested a central town storeyard as a potential site and offered their caretaker to take daily readings at 9 am and 3 pm pending an officer’s site visit.
At the Hor sham branch annual meeting held in the Public Library on a Saturday evening, six resolutions were carried to be placed before the District Council and Annual Conference. Officers were elected with Milius MLA proposed as president, W Hobbs chairing, and Rudolph resigning as treasurer amid disputes over branch conduct and importance of further member outreach.
