Meeting favors Horsham home for aged charities
A public meeting called by Mayor Dr W R Lawrence urged the Charities Commission to consider establishing a home for the aged and needy in the Horsham district. Dr J I Chesson and others argued for a near normal living arrangement, with some residents able to pay, while Lutheran and Masonic groups pledged cooperation. a committee was formed to study replies and draft a policy for a later meeting.

Farewell to High School Teachers at Assembly
