Local court reports on school offences and train drunkenness
A magistrate adjourned a defences case for J Curr to respond after 1915 non dealings with Kornig. Mrs Boyle claimed her daughter was ill with gastric influenza and the case was dismissed. James Clark cited similar illness and dismissed. Three men named Williams Greyson and Harbarod admitted drunkenness on a railway, caused a broken window, and were fined. They had intended to reach Hamilton for races after missing the Ararat train.

Notifiable Diseases at Kalkee School District Meeting
At a Wimmera Shire Council meeting a Kalkee School Committee inquiry questioned whether all infectious cases must be reported within 24 hours. The council stated notifiable diseases are those required by law and that only notifiable cases are reported, with three cases in the district that year and two deaths noted. A deputation was planned to seek medical guidance and a Kalkee visit by a medical officer.
