Disastrous Goroke Fire Destroys Store and Bank
A Tuesday morning blaze in Goroke razed a store and its adjoining National Bank, with £10,000 in damage. Fire brigades from Natimuk and Horsham battled flames that reached nearby homes, the hotel, and a drapery shop. Mr and Mrs Wade suffered burns.
