Assault on Zenaille Post Prolonged by Heavy Fire
The Historical Register describes a fierce, protracted attack on the Zenaille position at the Tenaille. Spanish forces, supported by infantry, batteries, dragoons, and multiple regiments, pressed assaults from one o’clock to five in the evening, with relentless fire and determined enemy charges. The Marquess de Lede organized reserves and fortifications, reinforcing the intrenchment as the battle raged.
