Moorish Attack and Reconnaissance at Tangier Camp
Historical Register NOXXI reports Moorish forces reconnoitering the camp from neighboring heights then maneuvering along hills to the Tangier road. On the 5th and 6th, Farries and Moorish columns engaged Allied troops, with Grenadiers supporting and night posts held. By day two, Moorish foot and horse pressed, but our lines held as commanded by the Marquess de Lede.
