The VV GE railway project between here and Keremnos has intensified over ten days with more reinforcement expected in two weeks as constriction work on the Portland line loosens. Swedish workers staff two stations near the old mission, shaping the grade amid talus, rock faces, deep cuts, and powder use while two stations Lemyeen establish signals near Bradshaw and the Indian reservation below Ashnole Creek.
Prolonged fine weather has tightened the creek water supply and strained electricity. Officials warn that reserves must be used, forcing continued reliance on lake sources to meet demand.
