Discovery of Tinstone in Canada Follows New Nova Scotia Find
Ottawa reports that tinstone has been found in a solid vein near New Ross Nova Scotia within a pegmatite vein in granite. The Geological Survey confirms cassiterite ore with about 78 percent tin and 22 percent oxygen and notes prior records of tin in Nova Scotia and other Canadian regions.
