Development work at Voigt's Camp Copper Mountain
The British Columbia Copper Co employs about 60 men at Voigt's Camp on Copper Mountain ten miles southwest of Princeton. They are driving a 14, Ada B, Silver Dollar, Triangle Fraction, Red Eagle and main crosscut tunnel while expanding diamond drilling to six machines. Ore bodies lie in north south dyke systems with porphyry dykes, with hematite and chalcopyrite showing copper and gold values. A 2200 foot tunnel will access ore, with drills offset parallel to the tunnel to prove the ledge depth. New buildings and a post office are added to support the operation under Supt Ed Berryniit.

In a seven inning Sunday baseball game Keremeos defeated Hedley 7 to 5 despite Hedley’s strong early start. Daly starred for Keremeos driving in runs while Hedley’s fielding errors fueled the late Keremeos rally. Umpire Daly officiated as both teams showcased offensive bursts and defensive miscues.

Death of Mrs Bullock-Webster in Victoria
Mrs Alice Frances Bullock-Webster died yesterday at St Joseph hospital Victoria after a brief illness. Born in England she had recently arrived in the area and Mr Raweed Bullock-Webster, a Penticton rancher, is her husband. The funeral will be held in Victoria.

New Railway Hotels Planned Across Interior Regions
Two new railway hotels are slated for construction in the interior regions. Track Laying Progress On Kettle Valley Railway
KV R steel is laid as fast as possible over graded road from the new wharf to Penticton. More steel arrives at Pen Se for the section toward Baumberland. Mrs J Ratcliffe of L M Rice Co. reports steady progress toward Trout Creek despite some later difficulties blamed on LL OW W members.
