Masonic Lodge Instituted in Hedley Under Dispensation
R W Bro Burne of Kelowna, acting for the Grand Master, issued dispensation and Hedley lodge was instituted with officers chosen. The move follows informal meetings since March 1905 to form a lodge under the Grand Lodge of British Columbia. An address by R W Bro Baroy offered guidance, and a small informal banquet followed the ceremony.

Runaway Accident Injures Local Owner Dislocates Shoulder
Saturday last J Neill owner of Wranch across the river from Hed ley Camber Company's say mill met with an accident when a horse he had hitched to a light sleigh bolted. He was thrown from the rig and suffered a severe fall but only a dislocated shoulder emerged as the injury.
