Grand Track Pacific secures Indian reserve for town site

Vancouver Feb 1 After two years of negotiations the Grand Track Pacific wins Indian reserve at North Fort George for a new town site on the Nechaco river near its Fraser confluence. Indians receive cash and a 750 acre Fraser river reserve east of Fort George as Montana’s town subdividing planned this summer by the Grand Track Pacific. The lodge company also holds adjoining land, uniting parcels into one site as Old Fort George is absorbed and South Fort George looks to benefit from the change.
