Metropolitan Mine Development Shifts to Shipping Grade Ore
Two months into development at Kingston Gold and Copper Mining Os the Metropolitan shows a clear move from prospecting to mining. Managers report a 90 foot tunnel already blasted by hand with ore bodies yielding high grade and even free gold specimens, with ore values often exceeding $50 per ton and some assays as high as $300. The oxidized seam remains a critical key to the ore situation as work concentrates on connecting drifts and shafts.
