St Johns social evenings expand weekly dances and euchre
Under C H Green of Cranbrook Lodge a social series at St Johns Hall Hales Ville aids church restoration. King’s Birthday Dance drew about 100 attendees with prizes for novelty dances and euchre won by Gwenda Burke Doug Delehunta and others. Tue dances with Monte Carlo prize winners June Ayres and B Martlett drew large crowds and will continue every Tuesday all winter with music supper and novelty items.
