Bridge Accident at Ralphton Claims Three Injured and Two Dead
A bridge construction accident at Ralphton yesterday caused serious injuries to three workers and the deaths of two. About thirty men were at the site when the collapse occurred. Injured men were transported to Brandon by a special train as C P R officials assisted.

Foresters Picnic Draws Large Crowd Despite Threatening Rain
The Foresters picnic on Thursday afternoon drew a large attendance though rain kept some away. A hotly contested football match between Ancrum and Oak River ended in a draw while baseball saw Oak River win a $10 prize against Ancrum. Juvenile baseball between Viola Dale and Oak River awaits result as many events kept crowds engaged. The tug of war and pavilion dancing drew strong participation with a sumptuous tea served by ladies. Foresters celebrate a successful event and plan a larger gathering next year.
