Dr McHackren resigns as Chief Veterinary Adviser due to conflicts with full time duties. Dr Rutherford of Portage la Prairie is appointed Chief Veterinary Inspector with Ottawa headquarters to devote full time. Honorable veterinary adviser role created for McHackren in gratitude.
