Rural Municipality of Hamiota issues a 1918 tax arrears notice by warrant from the Hasmiote Reeve. It orders seizure of specified parcels for unpaid taxes and costs, with sale by public auction on October day 1918 at 2 PM in the Village of Hamiota Council Chamber if not paid.
The September sewing meeting drew a large turnout after a summer break. Members sewed and knitted, producing a quilt and woolen items to be shipped by October 8, with sock wool still to be distributed and a tea served for wartime support.
