Westbank Couple Honored at Tea in Golden Anniversary
Mr and Mrs George Ingram of Westbank BC were guests of honor at a tea hosted by Mrs W J Stevens on Saturday Aug 16. The couple, married Aug 28 1880 in Gamwine Scotland, celebrated their golden wedding last month. They came to Canada in 1882 and settled in Scotia Manitoba where they raised twelve children and now enjoy twenty two grandchildren. They moved to Westbank in 1924 with two sons Jim and Bill and own a small fruit farm visited by family.

A Young People Society meeting featured Don McClennan of Birtle Presbytery summarizing Christian Youth Council work in Toronto last June. During offering, Edna Lints sang I Will Be True. A combined service at 11 am marks Rally Day and promotion day. Ladies Aid and WMS planned a Bazaar for Friday November 7. Miss Letta Simm of Elm Creek visiting Mrs D McKay.
