Senator Old CNE Fan Keeps Attendance At Opening Day
Senator Harry A. Mullins, age 88 on August 27, recalls attending the first Exhibition in 1879 and winning fame as the "Western Cattle King." Born in England, he immigrated to Canada, became a top cattle judge in Alberta and Manitoba, and served as Conservative member for Russell since 1899, later joining the Senate in 1935.
