Hamiota Council OKs subdivision amalgamation and budgets
The seventeenth regular meeting of the Village of Hamiota council approved Subdivision 4134-91-2914 to merge with Lots 16 and 17, Plan 632 creating one larger lot. It also authorized a 1/5 water mains swab and cut liability insurance to 10 million dollars, plus granting a building permit VH 10/91 for a storage shed. The panel adjourned at 10:57 p.m. with next session set for September 4, 1991.

Hamiota approves MAUM gas brokerage savings plan
Special council meeting held August 13 1991 chaired by Mayor Mennie to review MAUM gas brokerage proposal with Great Western Energy. Plan promises about 41152.30 annual savings on heating and guarantees price not to exceed 80 percent of Centra. Motion to accept the MAUM brokerage program passed. Meeting adjourned at 12 10 pm.
