Hamiota Council Advances Loan By law and Good Roads Plan
The Hamiota council met with most members present and approved paying J H McConnell's 12500 claim for Frank Love's burial. They passed By law No 364 authorizing borrowing from Union Bank for current expenses and formed a Good Roads Committee. The Finance Committee approved several payments including a wool clip note and local ward accounts. Wool sales over six weeks reached 1.5 million pounds with prices improving and Canada’s mills showing renewed demand and confidence in grading.
