Machinery roads work discussed at Blanshard council meeting
July 31 meeting with Regional Manager of Natural Resources covered machinery roads side walks in Cardale ditches and relevant business. Oak River grader with mulcher used one day on Ward 4 roads and left in Cardale for use by Cardale employee. Front end loader to remove larger stones. Fall plan to acquire a scraper to level ditches and repair roads including PR 250. Water rights act discussed with emphasis on downstream approval before drainage. Council approved surveys for Oak River expansion and funding for E 911 equipment and bridge project. By laws on house numbering organizational and procedural matters advanced. Donations approved for Bantam baseball team and Terry Fox Run.
