W I and church events mark October and November
A large crowd attended a chicken supper on October 22 raising 113.00 for the church. The WI held its monthly meeting with 24 members, featuring talks on Parent Education and the Province of Quebec. A meal for veterans after Armistice Day is planned, and a November 15 chicken supper at Oradall Church will aid the WI. Four veterans motored to Winnipeg for a 200th Battalion banquet.

George O'Neill Passes After Long District Life
George O Neill longtime Kenton district resident and farm laborer turned highway patrolman died Wednesday October 23. He was born March 3 1879 in Brace County Ontario and married Elizabeth McMillan in 1902. He is survived by two daughters, three sisters, two brothers, all in Ontario. Funeral held at United Church Hamiota with C O F ritual in the cemetery.
