Bake Sale Success Brings In 1755 Dollars For Hamiota Complex
The 4th Mobile Bake Sale on Friday October 13 raised 1755 dollars. Since 1988 four sales have collected 7353 dollars for the Hamiota and District Sports Complex. Committee members Norma Sheardown Doreen Mennie Dora Steven Joyce Lief and Hazel Westbrook led the effort. The group plans to pause spring sales to allow support to rest and will consider future events when needed.

Poppy Campaign Starts in Ottawa in 1989
