Talent Nite Planned To Raise Funds For Hamiota Sports Complex
A complex fund raising Talent Nite will be held Friday November 16 at 8 30 pm in Hamiota Collegiate. Cash prizes trophies and live CKDM radio coverage will showcase local talent to raise money for the Hamiota and District Sports Complex. Notes praise organizers and pledge options including in person audience pledges and phone donations.

1990 Poppy Remembrance Campaign Opens in Canada
The Royal Canadian Legion launches the 1990 Poppy Remembrance Campaign in late October across Canada. It honors 114,000 military lives from world wars and Korea and notes 14.5 million poppies distributed last year. Funds aid veterans and dependents. 5.9 million distributed in 1989.
