All Nations March to a Sunday Talk by Mr H Pollock

The International Students Association speaker Mr H Pollock addressed a large audience in McConnell's Hall on Sunday September 23 urging the two fold commission to comfort mourners and declare the coming Kingdom of God. He argued mankind cannot obtain life or happiness apart from God and traced divine dealings from Adam to Jacob to the Jewish people and then the Christian era, concluding with a prophecy of a thousand year reign and eternal life through Jesus Christ.

Millennia of human effort foretell a coming Messiah reign

The piece argues that human efforts to govern and to spiritualize the world show no divine origin, predicting Armageddon and a future Messianic Kingdom. It cites biblical prophecies from Isaiah, Daniel, Zechariah, Malachi and others, urging believers that millions now living will never die and a new peaceful era will precede the Kingdom of God.

Stability of Canada Railroads Depends on Free Management

Canadian Pacific Railway President E. W. Beatty argues the rail system needs freedom from political and legislative control. He contrasts U S government intervention during and after the war with Canada, warning that over regulation stifles investment and growth and urging round-table negotiations over top-down interference to sustain capital, initiative, and prosperity.
