Western Manitoba Youth Choir Begins Tour Plans
Preparation for the fall 1987 Western Manitoba Youth Choir is underway after 80 southwest Manitoba singers auditioned. 45 were chosen including 11 representing Virden Collegiate and nearby communities. Conductors are Dr. Earl Davey and Mrs. Brian Bailey. Rehearsals span September and October at Clear Lake with a four day tour October 24 to 27 visiting Rivers Kenton Virden Reston Deloraine Boissevain Souris and Brandon. Tuition funds lodging and meals with grants and donations supporting the program.

Birdtail River Teachers Hold First General Meeting
