After the meeting about sixty dined together followed by a program of musical items and speeches.

Mrs Richard L Van Alstyne aged 72 died at the home of her nephew David VanAlstyne in Roblin Manitoba on Friday October 9 1937 She leaves two sons Durll California and Elwood Canova Saskatchewan and two daughters Mrs Munshaw Winnipeg and Mrs Alf Anderson California The funeral was held Sunday at Hamiota United Church with Rev T D Barnett officiating and burial in Hamiota Cemetery
