The Hamiota Golf Club held its semi annual meeting led by Vice-President Tim Weber with 18 members present. A resignation for second vice was received from Larry Houck and proposed 1999 dues and green fees were set. A committee will propose course and clubhouse options ahead of the April annual meeting.
Miniota Golf Club held its October wind-up with 36 golfers forming two foursomes followed by a pot luck supper at the Miniota Rink. Prizes donated by local businesses went to top finishers in two flights with multiple hole in one recognitions and season awards presented for Men's and Ladies Nights.
