Average yield gains are 25 bushels per acre for barley and 15 for wheat, with profits around 19 and 11 bushels respectively. Farmers may raise to 90 pounds nitrogen for stronger responses. Soil testing and boxes are available through Ag Rep offices and the Manitoba soil analysis service.
