Crandall United Church marks 90th anniversary celebration
Crandall United Church observed its 90th anniversary on September 2 1990 with a worship service led by Rev Garfield Barber and guest Rev Tom Delgaty. Members and former adherents filled the sanctuary as flowers, memories, and a community meal followed the service.

Utah State U Lori Rowan earns Master’s Degree
Lori Rowan of Smithfield completed requirements for a Master of Education in education of the hearing impaired at Utah State University. Her thesis was The Needs and Concerns of the Siblings of the Deaf Blind. She received the outstanding student award and now works at the Ski Hi Institute at Utah State University.

Oak River Lions Club started fall events with officers listed led by President Jim Brown. September 30 hosted a car poker derby and Bossy Bingo with winners Jack Morrow Audrey Coulson and Ron Usinier plus Laurie Hawkins Carolyn Usinier. Oct 1 hay ride for 55 children. Upcoming and ongoing plans include nursery school funding lunch service at the Oak River Co op opening and a Rollingdale flea market table on Oct 4.
