Powell Construction of Brandon poured the arena ice surface concrete in the Hamiota and District Sports Complex on October 1 1991. The crew worked from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. delivering 252 yards and stayed through the night until about 6:00 p.m. Wednesday.
The library of fers a raffle for a latch hook wall hanging donated by Mae Roberts and on display. It will have a booth at the Trade Fair on October 11 and 12, open Friday but closed Saturday, with wishes for a happy Thanksgiving.
