On Sunday September 26 the local lighting plant joined the Manitoba Power system. Eight years of National Utilities Corporation service yielded excellent results and strong town relations. Mayor WM Dick extends sincere thanks to National Utilities Corporation Mr Clendenning associates in head office and the local staff for their splendid service and cordial dealings.
