Use credit cards wisely and save
Joanne Baker advises careful credit card use to reduce costs during holidays. Daily interest applies to bank trust and credit union cards, with savings possible by paying between statements and by paying the full statement by due date. For other cards, paying half the balance monthly often lowers interest, and detailed guidance is available via Canadian consumer affairs.
