The Atwater Kent Co adopts a profit sharing plan reducing the price of the 6 tube One Dial Control radio by 314.00 without altering quality or construction. The company notes the set now undercuts many 5 tube rivals and offers free demonstrations at home or in-store.
Multiple ads list FOR SALE horses and cattle including two pure bred Angus bulls and a roan yearling steer, with contacts in Hamiota. Stray and lost notices note yearling steers in sections 22 13 24 and 23 14 24 with phone numbers. At Winnipeg on Thursday Nov 17 1927 a son was born to Mr and Mrs Tom Tsutin of Hamiota Man. At Hamiota Manitoba on Monday November 21 1927 a son was born to Mr and Mrs Mike Chambry of Hamiota Man.
Deaths reported in Crandall and McConnell on consecutive days. John Walter Scott aged 65 died at McConnell on Sunday November 20 and was buried at Hamiota Cemetery on Tuesday. John McDonald aged 71 years 5 months 10 days died at Crandall on Monday November 21 and was interred at Crandall Cemetery this afternoon from United Church Crandall.
A meeting of the United Farmers of the Hamiota district will be addressed by A J M Poole M LA in the Council Chamber on Friday November 25 at 7 30 pm. Full attendance requested.
