Manitoba livestock domination at Toronto Royal Winter Fair 1983
Manitoba earned two Premier Breeder awards at the Toronto Royal Winter Fair. Stan Cochrane and Cochrane Stock Farm in Alexander received multiple honours in Limousin classes, while Wilfred Davies of Bar 5 Simmental Farm Ltd. in Brandon led the Premier Breeder of the Show. Other top placers included Brent Stewart of Stewart Cattle Co. in Russell and Tom Hyde of Burnbank Farms Ltd. in Portage la Prairie in market steers, plus Eddie Arnold of Shoal Lake and Joe Michalyshen of Brandon in horse classes. The lengthy list covers many breed results across cattle, horses, and various categories with numerous recipients.
