Oak River Hosts Fundraiser Dance for Hamiota Complex

In Hamiota area 23 quarter sections are under consideration with assessments ongoing. Manitoba Corporation and Community Advisory Committee will choose sites for possible drilling by end of November. A resident drilling sub committee will oversee the work. The program aims to verify surficial materials, identify permeable sands, collect soil and water samples, and evaluate in situ performance.

The 1st Hamiota Boy Scouts held their annual Bottle and Battery Drive on Saturday November 4 with strong community support. Donations exceed prior years and the group thanks the Hamiota Co-op Beatrice lunch helpers organizers and parents for routes and meals.
