McConnell Bazaar Yields 67.30 Proceeds and Christmas Tree Plans
The Latte Aid bazaar in McConnell raised 67.30 with a short program including piano solos by Mrs C C Brown and Mrs Lates, a reading by Miss Ivy Lindsay, a solo by Miss Marjorie Lates, and a play A Lapse of Memory. Oak River Society presented The Path Across the Hill for 3900 proceeds benefiting the rink fund. Mr J Brown of Minnedosa visited relatives in the area.

Lady’s Aid funded new church, raising over 1000 for the October 14 1934 opening. Princess Chrysanthemum operetta praised. Boys Junior Hockey sponsored dance after concert. W I annual meeting elected officers, reports of successful year. Oddfellows hosted visitors and shared Chicago Fair trip details. Peace address by Mr Cox.
