Village tax sale set for Monday at two o clock in the afternoon. Local items include farm stock sales, pure bred birds for sale, tailoring services, and social events in Hamiota with notice of meetings, elections, and community activities.
The October 29 1930 issue announces a pending tax sale for the Municipality of the Village of Hamiota. A correction states the sale date should read Monday December 8 1930 instead of December 9 1930. WM T Andrew serves as Secretary-Treasurer.
Rev. R. E. McCullagh conducts morning worship at 11 o clock on Sunday November 23 1930 with 1210 o clock service followed by Sunday School and Bible Classes at 7 o clock and evening worship.
Sunday timetable lists 1lam Sunday school at 12 10 pm bootia 2 15 pm Sunday School 3 00 pm preaching service with Oakner Chumah and Scotia.
The Hamiota Live Stock Shipping Association plans four shipments of horses to be slaughtered for fox meat if enough horses are offered to load a car. Interested parties can contact K R Fraser or Chas Penny at the phone number 520.

The Annual meeting of the Hamiota Agricultural Society will be held in the Council Chamber Hamiota on Saturday afternoon November 22 1930 at 2 oclock. Reports will be received from retiring officers and election of officers for the ensuing year will be held. Members are urged to attend.
The annual Christmas Sale of Baby Beeves will be held at Union Stock Yards on December 12 and 13. The Hamiota Live Stock Shipping Association plans to load a car of stock for the sale. Parties wishing to contribute stock should notify K. R. Fraser or Chas Penny promptly as limited shipment space is available. All cattle entered for baby beef sale must be dehorned.
