Newlyweds Mr. and Mrs. R. N. Beamish hosted a Friday afternoon reception on November 9 1951 at the Frazer home following a honeymoon in Ontario and the U.S. About thirty guests attended the cake cutting and luncheon assisted by Mrs. C. W. Venables and Mrs. W. K. Fraser. The couple’s neighbors and friends joined in the evening with songs, contests, and a coffee table gift, ending with “For They are Jolly Good Fellows.”
