The Rural Municipality of Hamiota gives notice of a tax arrears sale by public auction on December 12, 1946 at 2 PM in the Village council chamber. Parcels listed include Oarner Townsite and Pope Townsite blocks with arrears totals and costs. Lands described by plan numbers and lot designations are due for payment. WM. T. Andreis serves as Secretary-Treasurer.
Scotia Church held Remembrance Day services with a Bible dedication by the W.A. for Arthur Wayne Colbeck and Alexander Clark, a manuscript tribute, and a wreath between honor rolls. Rev J M Wilson led the service aided by Rev W G Onions. W A president Mrs W B Strachan presented the Bible. W W Kirk sang a solo. Patrons include Mr W W Kirk, Mrs Geo Gray hospital note and Mary Mackay R N returning to St Boniface Hospital.
McConnell vice president Geo McConnell will present the annual report in the Hall on Friday November 15 at 8 pm. The Holylea Workers plan a bazaar cards and dancing on November 29 with cards at 8 30 pm. Tenders for winter van driving are invited by the McConnell School Board with bids due by November 15.
