The 4-H Beef Club held a reorganization on November 2 at 7 30 p m in the Community Centre with 15 members present including new member Julie McConnell. Officers named are Carol Parker president Bruce Johnson vice Robbie McCon nel l treasurer Stuart McCon nell secretary and Susan Wright reporter. Plans include the annual banquet November 27 at 6 30 p m at the Community Centre. Wendell Wight Agr Rep received a travel alarm clock from Parker on leaving for Australia. Future meetings set for the second Tuesday each month at 7 30 p m in the Community Centre. The meeting was chaired by Adam Usick Sandy Lake farmer.

Art Club Notes at Hamiota Highlights Watercolor Plant Study
The Hamiota art class has spent two weeks exploring watercolors focusing on a large leafy plant. Mrs. Lawson demonstrated wet-in-wet graded wash and cloud effects and how to protect white areas. Significant improvement in light and dark shading color and composition was noted. More watercolor work is planned for next week.
