Hamiota Author Honoured For Camsell Mosaic Contribution
Winnifred N Hulbert received a complimentary autographed copy of The Camsell Mosaic, a 275 page history of the Charles Camsell Hospital. Elva Taylor, former Minnedosa nurse, directed nursing at the Charles Camsell Indian Hospital for 24 years and helped Hulbert craft a poem for the Aurora Borealis of Nursing section. Hulbert was also honored September 27 1985 at the Delta Winnipeg Hotel for Manitoba Multicultural Anthology Series contributions, with two poems selected from her books Echoes and Down My Road, to be published in 1986 for schools and libraries.
