Zion Methodist Church announces a second Sabbath morning meditation on Psalm 23 12 10 and Bible study. Evening service is withdrawn to join Knox Church at their anniversary. Sunday School 2pm preaching 3pm Lord's Supper to follow all members urged to attend.
Knox Church Hamiota invites all to anniversary events featuring Rev. W. W. McPherson of Saskatoon. Services at 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. with choir music and an illustrated lecture The Highlands of Scotland. Special Sunday School and an Oakner Church program follow with tickets for Friday night lecture The Friendly Road.
Hamiota council met October 17 1983 with full attendance. They changed the tax sale date to December 5 and set municipal election polling for December 4 18 at various wards and sites. Delegation to St Boniface municipal convention November 6 7 8 was approved. Finance accounts totaled payments for salaries weed inspector printing tax sale forms cemetery and memorial grounds, road work and supplies, and engineering and culverts.
The finance committee report is adopted and cheques issued for mowing, dragging, and work by multiple crews including Geo Sheardown A E McConnell Joe Stewart Jas A Stewart Rebt Runchey and Riddell Bastard. Adjournment set for Saturday November 24. Headquarters for Big Chubby Oysters at Hall's.

Notice of a warrant issued by the Reeve of Hamiota Manitoba directing a tax sale of specified lands for arrears of taxes and costs. If the arrears are not paid by the deadline the lands will be sold at public auction at the council chamber in Hamiota on a Sunday at 2 p.m. in December 1923.
